Summertime. Ahh, the sweet release from school, homework, and waking up extra early to make it to class on time. We know that now’s your chance to stay up later, do more interesting things, and generally be more awesome than you are during the school year, right?

Right.

Well, we want to capitalize on your night-owlish-ness by asking that you bring in your “Night Images” photos of the life you live that begins after the sun goes down.  We’ll accept photos from June 1 to June 15, 2012, then display them at the Calvert Library branch where you submitted the photo(s).

So this brings up an obvious point – we’re your public library, so I think you can guess what kind of late-night scenes we don’t want to see. Everyone has a private life – just keep yours private, okay? We okay with what that means? Ok? Ok.

Cool.

Submission rules are strewn all over our awesome flyer [pdf] and also available at your local Calvert Library branch.

And if you’re looking for some teen photo inspiration, check out our teen photography winners from 2010’s contest.  Lots of talent right here in CalCo, wouldn’t you say?
